About Chapter Specialist Support Teams

This year, the AGO is establishing Chapter Specialist Support Teams to assume the responsibilities previously held by District Conveners.

Teams are composed of six members, volunteers with expertise in marketing and communications, technology, programming, education and certification, membership, chapter leadership, and financial development.

Team members serve a one-year term beginning July 1 and, in conjunction with Regional Ambassadors, will address the critical needs of AGO chapters of all sizes to operate more effectively. Special attention will be paid to membership recruitment and retention.

Team members can include current and past:

  • District Conveners
  • National Committee or Task Force Members
  • Chapter Leaders
  • Regional or National Officers
  • Experts in the Six Chapter Specialist Support Areas

Team members should be comfortable using technologies such as Zoom and online collaborative platforms like Google and Microsoft Teams.
