Message from the Dean 

Welcome to our web site. We are a small chapter, but offer fun and informative programs during the school year. If you are interested in organ and church music we encourage you to join us.

2023-24 Programs

August 17, 6:00 p.m., Home of Dottie Moreland. Potluck with friends & significant others, followed by reports of organ activities over the summer, as well as a brief report on the regional convention.

September 15, 5:45 p.m., Houlihan’s Restaurant (1641 Anderson Ave.) — Dinner with spouses & friends prior to David Pickering’s recital

September 15, 7:30 p.m., All Faiths Chapel – David Pickering’s recital

October 19, 7:30 p.m., First Presbyterian Church (8th and Leavenworth) — Dan Myers discusses and plays organ music by John Behnke

October 31, 9:00 p.m., All Faiths Chapel — Halloween Concert by David Pickering’s organ students.

November 2, 11:25-12:25 a.m., All Faiths Chapel — Master class by Bradley Hunter Welch, Resident Organist of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra.

November 3, 7:30 p.m., All Faiths Chapel — Recital by Bradley Hunter Welch, Resident Organist of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra.

November 5, 4:00 p.m., 1st Presbyterian Church – David Pickering, Bob Edwards, & Dan Myers will present a recital in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the installation of the Dobson organ.

Since we normally do not meet in December, have a MERRY CHRISTMAS!

January 18, 2024, 7:30, Home of Mary Ellen Sutton — Anne Otte presents Top Tips & Tunes.

February 11, 4:00, First Presbyterian Church (801 Leavenworth, Manhattan) — Hymn Festival with Michael Burkhardt

March 3, 3:00, First United Methodist Church (6th & Poyntz) — Organ recital by Dan Myers dedicating the new ranks of pipes on the church’s Reuter organ.

April 18, 7:30, All Faiths Chapel, KSU — Recital by K-State Organ Students from the studio of David Pickering.

May 16, 6:00 p.m., Home of Ruth Ann Warren  —  Final meeting of the 2023-24 program year.  Potluck with spouses and friends followed by brainstorming  for programs for the 2024-25 season.
